Sunday Touch in the Park!

The Northern Knights Rugby Football Club will be starting social Touch Rugby at West Coast Park followed by some curry puffs, beer and other light refreshments on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month!

Do drop them a reply on whether you or any of your friends are keen to join them, so that they can cater to the numbers!

Upcoming Touch Rugby Training!

Hi everyone,

The Dirty Dozen will be having training on the following dates/times:

1. DATE: Tue, 15 May 2007.
   TIME: 4.30pm - 6.30pm.


2. DATE: Thu, 17 May 2007.
   TIME: 4.30pm - 6.30pm.
   

   VENUE for these two training sessions will be at Bishan Park II, unless there are further updates.
   
   It's about 10min walking distance from Bishan MRT (simply follow Bishan Road). Alternatively it's next to Blk 221 Bishan St 23. Please reach by 4.30 pm as we'll lose light by 7pm.

3. DATE: Tue, 22 May 2007.
   TIME: 4.30pm - 6.30pm.


4. DATE: Thu, 24 May 2007.
   TIME: 4.30pm - 6.30pm.
   

   VENUE for these two training sessions to be confirmed.

Please take this as a personal invitation to come down and join us if you are free.

We will be doing some simple drills and game-play, I guess, so anyone is welcome to come down if you are gian for a bit of touch.

NTU Touch Attack 2007!

Format:	Unique 4 v 4 format (Beach Touch rules apply)

Categories:	Women's Open Girls Under 20s Mixed Open (Min. 1 woman on the field at any point in time. Overall gender ratio is up to team to decide)
Fee:	$85 per team ($70 if Touch Singapore-sanctioned referee is provided)

SMU Touch Rugby Competition.

Format:	6 v 6 (Standard touch rules apply)
Date:	Sat, 19 May 2007
Time:	9am - 5pm (Expected Start and End Time)
Venue:	Republic Polytechnic (New Campus)
Number of Players:	Team can register up to 12 players
Categories:	Women's (Age 17 - 23) Men's (Age 17 -23) Mixed Open
Fee:	$150 per team (Cost per player depends on number of players in team)
What You Get:	There will be goodie bags provided, including a t-shirt. There are also medals and attractive gift vouchers for champions.
Deadline for registration:	Sat, 28 April 2007

Other details:

1. The maximum number of male players allowed on the field during game is 3, and the minimium is 1. Hence, you can register a minimium of 1 male player.
2. The teams will be split into 2 tables in which the teams will play a round-robin format. Then the teams at the top of the tables will have semi-finals and then finals.
3. A penalty of $75 will be imposed if registered teams do not turn up for the carnival.
